The best-selling game will not ship until June 2! It was really about time to receive this information. I don’t understand why EA couldn’t inform the huge fan community earlier.

But anyway, it’s the way it is, we still have to wait. And i was wrong when i stated that The Sims 3 wouldn’t be late. Sorry for that.

OK, just mark June 2 in your calendar and look forward to “Dreams of Luisa 6 – The Elfish Spell”, surely coming sooner than June :-)

Yet another Sims 3 Trailer!

It’s a poor relation to the rescheduled game and this trailer doesn’t show anything new.

Just forget your disappointment for a while and enjoy:

It’s a devious one that gives us a good view into the final game, its animations, sounds and everything.

The clip is also a good demonstration on machinima and storytelling: A clever choreography, smart cuts and a simple but funny story that needs no words to be told, no cliffhangers and an unexpected ending.

I think The Sims 3 will be a cool game though it will be a copy protected and it’s hard to spot the differences to The Sims 2 on the first view.

I have seen all of the many Tomb Raider Underworld trailers and also posted a handful of them here on the site and it’s clear that this game will be the best release this year – for me personally. Really, it wasn’t a very interesting year for a video gamer. Even Spore was and is an absolute disappointment.

So i won’t wait until Christmas but buy it on the first day. When the game looks only half way so great like in those movies, when it’s only half that smooth and exciting, i will be satisfied.

Lara Croft takes you on a ride!

In the new video Lara drives on a motorbike. No, not exactly.

She doesn’t “drive”; but she gets the hell out of the machine! She jumps from high cliffs, at full speed she turns around to shoot enemies, makes an extreme power slide and speeds up to “fly” over a redoubt.

Technically the video is state-of-the-art. It’s amazing what Machinima can do…

For what i have read about Lara’s Bike Vignette, it contains mostly original game scenes.

The clip also demonstrates the great weather effects, heavy rain in this case. I also like the very realistic looking flames that come mysteriously from some ruin walls.

All you can see is part of the Mexico Scenery.

No question, this game will be fun!

So i’m sorry for being a little late with this post! It’s because i have a new phone number and Lara couldn’t call me sooner…

No, jokes aside. Lara naturally follows me at twitter but i was just too busy (=lazy) to post the new and official Tomb Raider Underworld Video Trailer which was released a few days ago.

So finally here it is, the stunning video clip that shows how Lara detonates her own mansion for unknown reasons. We only can see that some really strange things happened inside the old building before the fire:

Well, i’m sure i will find out anything about Lady Lara Croft’s motivation to destroy the wonderful house – in November. Then she’ll take me to another exciting horror trip into the underworld!
