Okay, you asked for it. It seems that people still take my SimPose Masterclass posts to guide them through their first steps in that legendary vintage posing program.

SimPose Starter Package!

Please note: This post was meant for The Sims 2 creators only. I’m still not riding on the sims 3 train ;-)

I have created 10 nice standing poses that’ll make it easier for you to start posing. If you’re an advanced SimPoser you might find my poses interesting and inspiring.

The Package also contains the Lena Luv* Model (version 08) you can see on the photos below.  You can download the SimPose Starter Package for free here.

Quick Start:

Just unpack the zip into your SimPose directory, start SimPose, mount and save the model on the “Character” tab, in the “Pose Library” load the file “BASIC-stand-poses-mxm.pl2″ and set up a pose on the “Static Pose” tab.

Whenever you want to pose a standing model you can use one of these basic poses for a nice and easy start.

Tip: Don’t move and turn the view-stage in SimPose to look at the poses from all sides. Only zoom in and drag down. Rotate the model with the “root_trans / 3″ slider.

Be aware that some poses may not look nice from all angles. I’ve saved them in their best position, don’t move the view-stage and everything will be fine…
