Today i’ve stumbled upon a web service that’s pretty new in the metaverse, since September 10th, 2009, to be exact.

It’s called lifeyo.com and hello’s you with a fancy startpage that offers a free and (almost) fully customizable website. Ah, not only one website. You can create as many as you want.

For a guy like me who loves to run an online empire it’s always cool to open up another site – and so i registered at lifeyo and started creating.

Have you ever thought about starting your own fancy homepage?

It’s a good way to make contacts and to publish stuff that is important, funny, informative or just interesting for you. Or everything of that. After all, it’s cool to have a home in the world wide web.

The only question is: How?

You don’t want to spend money, you don’t want to spend much time, you don’t want to read endless tutorials, you just want it quick and easy without worrying about this and that.

This sounds very impossible, but it isn’t. Last weekend i stumbled upon tumblr.com and i’ve got the feeling that this free webservice was made for you…

If you are running a WordPress Installation on your server you probably see a friendly “Please upgrade now” message in your admin-panel.

I recommend to ignore this message. Since 3 days the new WordPress 2.5 is released and sadly shows up as a “little bit over the target” – to speak kindly.

I’ve tested the new version but also made the mistake to install it on a live website already. Let me tell you why i start hating WordPress 2.5…
