It’s disappointing, but ThriXXX’s flagship no longer has top priority! That’s a shame!
I often told you that 2 hearts beat in my chest. I really love that “game” 3D Sexvilla 2 and support/promote it pretty much. On the other hand i often stated that the company ThriXXX makes strange decisions sometimes, acts unprofessional – sort of. Nothing personal. I’m sure they are great guys and really talented programmers. But, you know, they can be freaky…
While gamers really look forward to a SV2 follow-up (at least since ThriXXX released a teaser video about 10 months ago), ThriXXX just decided to kick their faithful customers in the butt and reach out for new marketplaces instead.
ThriXXX hopes to find this new market in the dirty depths of the Live-Cam and Adult-Chat business. Don’t get me wrong, they may have their reasons and that’s fine. But i say it again: It’s a heavy buttkick for SexVilla-Fans!
The funny thing is that ThriXXX didn’t seem to expect the shitstorm they got when they told the community about the new strategy. Really, they were absolutely clueless and obviously blamed the community for being that ignorant.
Hey ThriXXX, the shitstorm is only a result of your very own misinformation and weak social media management! Nothing else.
Telling the community that you love them, and – in the next sentence – stating that they are not representative, is too harsh (and wrong).
Giving out short and moody news and worrying about some heavy feedback is naive. Not to send out any news at all, because you fear critics, is unprofessional.
And to top it all:
Asking advanced users to better take Poser, DAZ and so on is just like you sign your own death penalty. If i wasn’t such a nice guy i would be really pissed now. You should be proud that those users still create stuff with your software and don’t use anything else. You really want to make them go away? Sorry to say, but then you must be completely out of your mind.
Hey, it’s not that bad!
Good. Let us stay calm and think about what actually happened and what we can expect…
First of all: Sexvilla 3 is only rescheduled, not canceled! Though, to be honest, um… this point isn’t really clear. A bright and shiny statement is still missing. But hey, let’s stay positive!
Second best: The current Sexvilla 2 is still under development! There are more updates to come and the game’s life cycle will continue in 2013. I must remember you that SV2 is still a very good game and worth buying!
The bronze medal goes to the freshly developed V3-Graphic-Engine which seems to be finished and running nicely. This new engine will be featured in 2 new products before it also powers SV3 a little later.
Chathouse and Chathouse Roulette!
Before i forget to mention. The 2 new ThriXXX products will be called “Chathouse Roulette” and “Chathouse”. All i can tell is that these things are kind of 3D multiplayer erotic chat games. Whatever.
Okay, i want to be fair. So i recommend to have a look at the new things, at least its technical parts. An open Beta is also planned and i put myself on the list already. Haven’t heard anything, though.
It’s also interesting, that ThriXXX seems to try something that’s really new and completely different to other 3D-multiplayer-chats. We (the community) shouldn’t block this away in advance. Let’s give the new things a chance.
The recent decisions are disappointing for many. I still say that it is a shame to stave off SexVilla 3. I repeat that ThriXXX needs a better way to communicate latest ongoings.
But let’s face the fact that they are still working hard to create better products and make their company stronger. That’s a good thing.
I only hope that they won’t lose at the Chathouse Roulette.
