Today i changed the look of mxm-studios.com because i joined the Internet Blackout. Uh, what does that mean?

It’s about a strange thing that goes on in New Zealand where the new law S92A maybe come into effect on February 28. You can learn everything about this terrible law on the website creativefreedom.org.nz.

Now you may say you’re not from NZ, why should you care? Because New Zealand is only a beginning…

Join the Internet Blackout!

All over the world overrated politicians try to form the Internet the way they want. This trend must be stopped.

There is not much you can do against guilt upon accusation laws in NZ. But at least you can do a little bit to show that you take care of your Net-Freedom.

Things like blacken the design of your blog/website. Or change your avatar into a black one like this:

You can see what else you can do against S92A >>> Sign the Petition!

Expecially artists are asked to join the protest. Make clear that S92A does not happen in your name.

The “Copyright Amendment Act” is limiting artists and harming public rights. The Creative Freedom Foundation will help artists to find better copyright methods. Methods that don’t blame harmless Internet-Users by default.

BTW: The Internet Blackout officially happens from February 16 to 23, so you still have enough time to paint something in black. I must say, my blackened blog looks even better than normal ;-)

One Response to “Protest Against Guilt Upon Accusation Laws in NZ!”

  1. Wow, I can’t believe anything as ridiculous as that would even be considered! Whatever happened to that old chestnut, “innocent until proven guilty”?

Will definitely be getting involved at some point, thanks for bringing this to my attention!
