I’m sure that most of you already know what machinima means…
Especially if you are a Sims addict i can see a 99% possibility that you still have clicked the “V” button on your keyboard to shoot a small video clip of your Sims’ in-game doings. The more advanced of you perhaps even have tried to cut some movie pieces together to create some kind of cool video clip.
Others – like me – are more interested in creating comics by using machinima techniques. You can see a poster of my upcoming machinima comic here >>>
But there are always some newbies around who might wonder about the term “machinima”. Is it a magical spell or just a tech hobby for nerds? The next mega hype or just a waste of time? You can decide by yourself…
What could be better than to explain machinima with a machinima movie?
I know a nice one…
Today i have 2 good news for you.
1) Though i was a little slow during the last couple of days i think i can state a deadline: In about 14 days the “Luisa & The Elfish Spell” Pre-Production phase will be done. During the next days i will tell you more about the upcoming tasks…
2) I will show you the making of a large 3D-Object i’ve created today. It’s the part of a set that will make it into the story.
This small inside view will give you an idea about the mystical atmosphere of “Luisa 6” and the original style of some objects that i create for the famous erotic story…
It’s time to share another small update about “Luisa & The Elfish Spell” with you.
Since last weekend you know that the Pre-Production is already finished 50% and you might want to know what’s going on in the second half.
Well, the second half of the “Luisa 6″ Pre-Production mainly means creating custom 3D-Objects, Scenery and Sets. I’m deep into this right now.
If you want to know more details of my current work please read the full post. I will also tell you something about Milkshape and Google SketchUp…
This weekend i will meet an important way-point, then i’m half way done with the Pre-Production of “Luisa & The Elfish Spell”.
Pre-Production runs pretty well and i’m sure that i can keep the speed, provided that i can have a little break from meshing to avoid burn-out symptoms (Don’t worry, i still feel fine).
During the last couple of days my Body Shop, SimPe and Milkshape programs have been running hot!
And i’m running hot as well, it feels like i have created some thousand meshes and skins already – only for “The Elfish Spell”. In fact there are “only” about 65 (or some more) mesh/skin combinations for the females.
So what does “mesh/skin” combinations” mean?
