Like always i’m a little bit late on this. Last week Maxis released a new video demonstration about The Sims 3 which is the most interesting so far.
The clip shows how the next sims generation is acting in-game, you can see many live life situations and get a great insight of some editors.
The demonstration starts with a look at the new CAS (Create A Sim) Editor. It’s pretty smooth and clear but… no big boobs, guys ;)
OK, see by yourself:
I didn’t watch too close yet so feel free to post your opinion and any stuff about The Sims 3 in the comments…

The Sims 3 are demonstrating for more customer rights and against Blah!
Though i expect more official news about The Sims 3 to be released soon i’m slowly getting scared.
What if The Sims 3 will not be so damned nice like everybody is going to tell us actually? What if all the euphoric smiles turn into angry grimaces or - even worse - boredom and sheer disappointment?
Just like it happened with EA’s latest flop “Spore”.
The casual Sims-Gamer will be happy about The Sims 3 anyway and the game will be a Mega-Seller, that’s for sure. I will be happy about The Sims 3 as well and it’s no question that i will buy it on its release date (February 20). I’m even planning to take a day off…
But i also know for sure that i will not be satisfied by the gameplay only. I am a custom creator (one of thousands), it’s in my nature that i want to mod The Sims 3.
When i think about The Sims 3 as a creator of custom content i realize that it’s about time to become skeptic and ask some inconvenient questions.
That’s what i’m going to do in this post because there’s way too much useless blah around…

Today i’ve visited a few official and leading inofficial websites to get the latest news about The Sims 3 (Release: February 20, 2009).
There has been the rumor that we could not build our own houses in The Sims 3 due to the new open neighborhood. This point is not totally clear so i wanted to find more info about that.
Another important question is about the customizable breast-size of female Sims. I often read about it the search requests - and i understand that need ;)
Read here what i have found out about Sims 3 breast-sizes and more…
Brand new and hot!
The latest info about “The Sims 3″, directly from the GC - Games Convention in Leipzig/Germany!
EA Games just confirmed the official world wide release date of The Sims 3:
February 20, 2009!
Then you will also have the ability to buy a “Collector’s Edition” that contains an expensive Italian sports car (Ferrari?)!!!
Well, not in reality but as an exclusive in-game object ;) And to be honest, i prefer Porsche :)
There will also be a special gift for collectors that not has been described yet. No news about the run of copies of the Collector’s Edition and the price of the game.
Finally some more news about “The Sims 3″, the next sequel of the record breaking computer games “The Sims” and “The Sims 2″.
Just in time for the E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) computer and video games trade show the Sims publisher EA Games released the first official teaser video as well as some more in-game screenshots.
As a highly competent appreciator of the Sims series i had a closer look at the video and pictures and can tell you that The Sims 3 will look much better than ever!
At first everything looks like always, as if nothing had changed. The same cartoon-like look that is so typical and we all love so much…
But then someone opens the door and the pulsating life and stunning details takes you on a journey into a better Sims-World. See by yourself, the video and pictures are here on mxm-studios.com…
Did you know that they sold 98mio. copies of “The Sims” and “The Sims 2″? All in all, worldwide? That’s much more than “World of Warcraft” or any other game. Respect!
The only problem is that EA Games/Maxis can do what they want; even a terribly made “The Sims 3″ would be a big success…
But before we get too critical better let me lift the fog a little bit more for you, i have news about “The Sims 3″.
